John Clinton is an Executive Director in EY’s Financial Services Organisation. He has worked in the financial services sector for over 10 years in advisory, representative and operational roles, gaining experience in EY offices in Dublin, New York and London. He previously worked for the Irish Banking Federation where he played a lead role in achieving banking industry objectives through interaction with the Irish Government, Central Bank and other relevant domestic and European authorities on a range of issues and projects including consumer and conduct of business legislation and regulation.

John specialises in risk and compliance, and has worked on many AML, countering the financing of terrorism and regulatory compliance remediation projects at retail financial institutions.

John holds a BA in Communications Studies from DCU and an MSc in Strategic Management from DIT.
